NBA on TNT Unveils Live Game Schedule for First-Ever NBA In-Season Tournament
Three Straight Weeks of Group Play Doubleheaders to Tip Off on Tuesday, Nov. 14, with
Spurs/Thunder & Clippers/Nuggets Starting at 7:30 p.m. ET
Group Play to Showcase Top Stars – LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Jimmy Butler & Victor Wembanyama
NBA on TNT’s live game schedule for the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament will tip off with three consecutive weeks of Group Play doubleheaders starting Tuesday, Nov. 14. The first night of action will feature the San Antonio Spurs and 2023 NBA Draft top pick Victor Wembanyama visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the NBA Champion Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic hosting the LA Clippers and Paul George at 10 p.m.
TNT’s second week will showcase the Philadelphia 76ers and last season’s Kia NBA MVP Joel Embiid hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers and Donovan Mitchell on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m. The night’s second game will feature the Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer LeBron James hosting the Utah Jazz and Lauri Markkanen at 10 p.m.
The tournament’s Group Play coverage on TNT will conclude on Tuesday, Nov. 28, with the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo visiting the Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler at 7:30 p.m. The night cap will feature a rematch of last year’s seven-game NBA Playoffs series with the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry visiting the Sacramento Kings and De’Aaron Fox at 10 p.m.
NBA TV’s Group Play coverage will consist of a doubleheader on Friday, Nov. 24, with the Orlando Magic and last season’s Kia NBA Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero hosting the Boston Celtics and Jayson Tatum at 2:30 p.m., followed by the Phoenix Suns and Kevin Durant visiting the Memphis Grizzlies and Jaren Jackson, Jr., at 5 p.m.
Each team will play four designated Group Play games – one game against each opponent in its group, with two games at home and two games on the road. As previously announced, all 30 teams have been randomly drawn into groups of five within their conference based on win-loss records from the 2022-23 regular season.
The Knockout Rounds will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals (Monday, Dec. 4, and Tuesday, Dec. 5), Semifinals (Thursday, Dec. 7) and Championship (Saturday, Dec. 9). TNT’s schedule for the Knockout Rounds will be announced at a later date.
TNT and NBA TV’s full game schedules for the upcoming 2023-24 NBA regular season will be announced on Thursday, Aug. 17.
