Patrizio “Pato” Spagnoletto serves as Global Chief Marketing Officer, Direct-to-Consumer, Warner Bros. Discovery. In this role, Spagnoletto oversees a unified global streaming marketing organization that drives subscription growth for the company’s streaming platforms, including the new streaming platform Max, discovery+ and HBO Max in Latin America and Europe. He recently spearheaded the go-to-market strategy for Max, the company’s unified streaming platform that launched in the U.S. on May 23.
In addition to the streaming marketing team he leads, Spagnoletto also works in close partnership with the U.S. networks and local international marketing teams to leverage all of Warner Bros. Discovery’s assets.
Spagnoletto most recently served as Global CMO, Direct-to-Consumer at Discovery, Inc. Prior to joining Discovery, he served as EVP and Head of Marketing for Hulu, where he oversaw the company’s marketing efforts and played a critical role in the impressive subscriber growth across both its SVOD and live-TV businesses.
Spagnoletto is an advisory board member of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and holds a B.A. in Economics from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.
