Debra L. Lee is chair of Leading Women Defined Foundation (a nonprofit education and advocacy organization in Los Angeles, California), which she founded in 2009. She has served in this capacity since June 2018. Ms. Lee served as chairman and chief executive officer of BET Networks, a global media and entertainment subsidiary of Viacom, Inc., from 2006 until her retirement in 2018. Ms. Lee joined BET Networks in 1986 and served in several leadership roles, including as president, chief executive officer, chief operating officer and general counsel. Ms. Lee has served as a director of the Procter & Gamble Company since 2020 and Marriott International, Inc. since 2004. Ms. Lee served on the board of AT&T, Inc. from 2019 until 2022, when AT&T’s WarnerMedia business was combined with Discovery, Inc. Ms. Lee formerly served on the board of Twitter from 2016 until 2019, WGL Holdings from 2000 until 2018, and Burberry Group plc from 2019 to 2024.
Ms. Lee's term will expire at the 2025 annual meeting of stockholders.
