Ultimate Fan Experience At Sea Sets Sail in November

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) today announced ACADEMY AWARD® winner Richard Dreyfuss, legendary child star Margaret O’Brien, and world-renowned fashion designer Bob Mackie are set to take sail with the TCM Classic Cruise, sailing November 12-17, 2022, from Miami to Grand Cayman and Disney Castaway Cay on the majestic Disney Dream. They will join TCM hosts Ben Mankiewicz, Alicia Malone, Eddie Muller, Jacqueline Stewart, and Dave Karger for film screenings, special fan events and in-depth interviews aboard this unforgettable classic movie experience at sea.

RICHARD DREYFUSS

An Academy Award winner for his performance in The Goodbye Girl (1977), Richard Dreyfuss has starred in numerous audience favorites over his five-decade career, including American Graffiti (1973), Jaws (1975), Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), What About Bob? (1991), and Mr. Holland’s Opus (1995). He is a passionate advocate for civic education and a spokesperson on the issue of media in forming policy, legislation, and public opinion.

MARGARET O’BRIEN

One of the most popular child actors in Hollywood history, Margaret O’Brien memorably appeared as “Tootie” in Vincente Minnelli’s Meet Me in St. Louis (1944), earning a Juvenile Academy Award. Her subsequent work in The Canterville Ghost (1944), The Unfinished Dance (1947), The Secret Garden, Little Women (both 1949), and many more films immortalized her as “America’s Sweetheart” and, eighty years later, her star shines brighter than ever.

BOB MACKIE

The creative genius behind legendary costumes for film, television, and the Broadway stage, Bob Mackie counts entertainment icons Barbra Streisand, Mitzi Gaynor, Cher, Diana Ross, Elton John, and Tina Turner as a few of his many clients. A three-time Oscar nominee for his work on Lady Sings the Blues (1972), Funny Lady (1975), and Pennies from Heaven (1981), Mackie is the recipient of 9 Emmy Awards for his television work and the Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for The Cher Show.

Additional guests and programming will be announced in the coming weeks.
