VP DEI Workforce & Strategy

Latour is responsible for leading strategic direction and integration of Business council work stream priorities to scale best-in-class DE&I strategies across the WBD enterprise. In addition, she supports and drives corporate and operational elements of DEI strategy and works to establish a strong corporate foundation for the DEI COE across the company.

Yvette joined the company in 1999 and over the years she has led numerous projects that have contributed to the development of the People and Culture function and the growth of the company’s business. These initiatives include the successful transition of a solely Miami based operation to the creation and expansion of Discovery’s regional offices in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia from 2012 thru 2013.

In 2018, Yvette co-led the design and rollout of Discovery’s Global Feedback, Goals and Achievements program, moving away from structured performance management process and moving the global culture towards consistent and transparent feedback.  Furthermore, Yvette and her team have been stewards of having successfully implemented many Lifeworks activities to help promote high levels of employee engagement.

Prior to joining Discovery, Latour held several HR positions within the health care and education industries specializing in Recruitment, Benefits Management, and HR Generalist roles. Latour holds a degree in Bachelors in Communications and a minor in Human Resources Management from FIU.
