Adria Alpert Romm serves as Chief People and Culture Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery, responsible for building and nurturing a workforce prepared to meet the changing media landscape while fostering an industry-leading inclusive company culture for more than 35,000 global employees. 

Alpert Romm most recently served as Chief People and Culture Officer, Discovery, Inc., where her leadership, vision and best-in-class initiatives cultivated, bolstered and maintained the company’s reputation as a socially conscious, family-focused world-class employer. Upon joining Discovery in 2007, she played key roles in the acquisition and integration of Scripps Networks Interactive and in realigning Discovery’s global workforce to focus the organization on growth, performance and operational efficiency. 

Alpert Romm has implemented several employee development and wellness initiatives that reinforced Discovery’s reputation as a best place to work, as measured by Fortune, Working Mother Magazine, Fatherly, Fast Company, the Cable and Television Human Resources Association and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). 

Prior to joining Discovery, Alpert Romm spent more than 25 years at NBCUniversal, including as SVP of Human Resources, serving NBC’s TV Network and Studio divisions, NBC News and cable networks, including MSNBC, CNBC, USA, SyFy and Bravo. 

Alpert Romm has served on the board of directors for the Emma L. Bowen Foundation, MotorTrend Group, OWN and WICT.
